When ever I make pastry there is always some left over. I hate waste. It must be the Scot in me. I make these with the scraps and bake them with the main event. They are just a perfect little mouthful. Little Jam Tarts with creme fraiche.

How lovely. I used to absolutely love making jam tarts for the whole family when I was younger. AnnaBanana Xxx.
Those look gorgeous - and beautifully lit! I like to make that recipe from HTE, periwinkles, where you roll up the scraps of pastry with honey, cinnamon, brown sugar...definitely worth making extra for!

Gorgeous photo Brenda, your blog is looking fabulous!
I love jam tarts. My mum used to do the exact same thing when making quiche, I used to help her make the jam tarts.

Those jam tarts are taking me a few years back. I used to enjoy baking them when I was a youngster.
