Winter Sunset

Our cold spell continues. It is causing chaos for those who have to travel. This country is used to more temperate winters so we are never prepared for the snow and sub zero temperatures. The fuel bills will be high but the countryside looks magical covered in it's white sparkling coat. The gutters wear long diamond earrings and the mist thrown over its shoulders lends an ethereal quality to the scene. So much prettier than the usual dark clouds and rain.

Ah Tze - Nice to see you here. I have been in Singapore and I would find the constant heat and humidity difficult. We are never happy are we. :)

Mary - I prefer a bit of heat too.

BVG and Rosa - Thank you. I have to say the ten minutes I spent at the bottom of our drive taking the pics caused my fingers to nearly drop off from cold. -10.C is not for loitering outside LOL

It is cold here, but it looks colder where you are!

The 100% humidity is the problem, but you make it look and feel romantic. Alas, my metal hip does not agree - it thinks we were in a walk in freezer for the past three weeks! :(

Stay warm.
