Left Over Jewels

When ever I make pastry there is always some left over. I hate waste. It must be the Scot in me. I make these with the scraps and bake them with the main event. They are just a perfect little mouthful. Little Jam Tarts with creme fraiche.

  9. Those look gorgeous - and beautifully lit! I like to make that recipe from HTE, periwinkles, where you roll up the scraps of pastry with honey, cinnamon, brown sugar...definitely worth making extra for!

  15. Those jam tarts are taking me a few years back. I used to enjoy baking them when I was a youngster.

I'd love to taste just one wee one as I don't remember the last time I had one.
